Real independence grows one skill at a time
Independence Bridge is an Independent Living Skills (ILS) agency built around individualized training, patient instruction, and genuine community connection.
Guiding growth, empowering independence
We work one-on-one with each client, building skills at their own pace across every core area of independent living — from managing money to navigating the community. We believe independence isn't a single milestone; it's built session by session, connection by connection.
This year, we've begun expanding beyond individual sessions into group community activities, so clients have the chance to build confidence and friendships alongside the skills they're already working on.
Individualized, and genuinely community-based
Every plan is shaped around the person, not a template. When we choose group activities, we think carefully about pacing and sensory considerations — favoring options like easy trail walks and low-key sessions alongside higher-energy outings, so there's something that fits everyone.
We partner closely with families and Service Coordinators to make sure each client's plan reflects their real goals and current life.
Languages: We offer services in English, Spanish, Arabic, Urdu, Russian, Pashtu, and Farsi.
I started Independence Bridge because I believe every person deserves the chance to live as independently as they can, and that independence is built one skill at a time, with patience and people who believe in you.
Our team works side by side with each client and family, in the home and out in the community. We want families to know their loved one is in good hands, and that you will always have someone to talk to.
